The drawing is a form of reflection reflected by the gesture.
The drawing does not always represent an existing object, but sometimes it can be the concrete form of a reflection.
As a child, I found a vital sense of freedom in storytelling, creating narratives that offered a refuge the world around me could not provide.
Between the visible and the invisible
Everything disappears in order to reappear Memory is the first replication of reality as fiction a blending of what occurred with what we remember it is also our first transformation of truth into fiction.
Documentary photography is a cold fact that provides nothing more than what can be seen in the picture.
My drawings give me the possibility to reach what cannot be described only felt, I explore boundary where the real and the fictional become inseparable. The transition from the colors of reality into black and white marks the entrance into fiction, black and white serves as a mechanism for revelation, stripping away the surface to reveal a deeper material presence.
I use photography in my works as a palimpsest, photograph isn't just a "snapshot" but a surface of accumulation with its multiplicity of viewpoints and the subjectivity of truth.
In my video works, I recreate moments from my own past, and some of which occurred before I was born, as "raw material" to build boundless, and fictionalized worlds. I record the act of drawing itself to create or recycled time into a contiunuous, circular movement. I try to reopen the frozen moment of the photograph into duration, through physical gestures crushing, erasing, covering, and rebuilding I set time in motion again. recycling stopped time into a "moving memory".
